Combat overlay for GunZ.
See your damage as you deal it.

GunZ shows you a scoreboard after the fact. This shows you the number the moment it lands — per hit, as a running total on whoever you are fighting, and for your team. It runs alongside GunZ without ever touching it: nothing is added to, patched into or changed in the game, and nothing is read out of its memory.

One file. Nothing to unzip, nothing to install.

What it puts on your screen

Every number comes from what the game itself reports. The damage tally is free and always works; the rest is Premium.

Colour that means something

The default palette is built around the shotgun: about 13 damage is one pellet, twelve pellets is a full blast, and every 13 points of a hit is a visibly different colour. So the colour of a number tells you roughly how many pellets landed, without reading the figure at all.

  • Three styles: one number per hit, a running total per opponent, or both, with a small column of recent hits.
  • F6 changes style, F7 shows the team list, F8 hides the whole overlay.
  • Positions are stored against your resolution and scale to whatever screen you play on.

The cheater blocker is freeFREE

Some players are on a reviewed list of confirmed cheaters. When one of them turns up in your match, they stop affecting it — so what they do stops happening on your screen. It runs whether or not you ever pay for anything.

  • It can only block players who are on that list. There is no way to type in a name and point it at somebody you dislike.
  • The list is signed. A copy that has been altered is refused.
  • Nothing outlives the program. Close it and everything is as it was.

Free and Premium

The damage tally is the thing that made this worth using, and it is free forever with no account and no connection. Everything that arranges, animates or extends that number is Premium.

    What it does not do

This matters more than any feature above, so it is said plainly rather than buried.

    • Nothing is added to, patched, injected into or changed in GunZ. Not the executable, not the game files, not its memory while it runs.
    • It does not click, aim, move, or do anything on your behalf. It shows you numbers; you play the game.
    • It never sends the game anything, and it never asks it for anything. Nothing it does reaches GunZ at all.
    • It cannot see anything the game has not already told your computer. No positions you could not see, no health you were not sent.
    • It does not read your files, your messages, or anything else on your computer outside GunZ.
    • It needs Administrator, and asks for it once, at the start. That is the only thing it is needed for.

    Questions

    Will this get me banned?

Nothing is written to the game, injected into it, or read out of its memory, and the game is never sent anything. It is a separate program that runs beside GunZ and leaves it completely alone. That said, no one but the people running your server can tell you what their rules are — if you are unsure, ask them first.

Do I need an internet connection to use Premium?

Not every time. Your licence is checked online when a connection is there and keeps working for 30 days at a time without one. If you play even once a month you will never notice it happening.

I reinstalled Windows and it says my licence is for another computer.

That is expected. A licence is tied to the machine you activated it on, and the signals that identify a machine are part of the Windows installation — reinstalling produces a computer we no longer recognise. Use Reset Device to free the old one, then enter your key again here. Changing a disk, a graphics card or even a motherboard does not need a reset.

Can I use it on my desktop and my laptop?

A licence covers one computer at a time. You can move it between machines yourself on the Reset Device page, up to three times a month. If you genuinely need two at once, ask — multi-seat licences exist.

What happens to the free tier if my licence runs out?

The damage tally and the cheater blocker keep working. They are free and they do not stop.

Does it work on private servers?

It was built and tested against one particular server, and others may behave differently. Try the free tier first — if the damage tally works, the rest will.
